Rattan Remix
Rattan Remix is inspired by the traditional wicker weave structure of rattan, which consists of layers of interlocking and overlapping strips of natural fibers. We bring a unique look to traditional rattan by reducing the weave structure to simple geometric shapes, lending itself harmoniously to the clean cuts of laser-cut metal.

Bildmarke
A Bildmarke is a visual trademark, the design identity of a brand. The Weiner Werkstätte’s was a square framing slanted overlapping W’s. Our version deconstructs the W logo, playing off signature motifs in Hoffman’s textiles.

Stempel
Part of our Werkstätte series, and influenced by Hoffman’s bold geometry and architectural references, Stempel features an elongated triangle shape which is mirrored and doubled in the negative space. It’s intended to be simple and clean with a fluid repeat that is easily customizable.

Stilkunst
‘Stilkunst’ was a tongue-in-cheek mantra of the Werkstätte and the associated Vienna Secession, literally ‘art style’. Ovals and squares are contained in vertical bars of varying thickness; the ovals differ in size to create depth. We consider the parallel lines characteristic of the Wiener Werkstätte.

We take inspiration both from our client’s design plan as well as motifs from the architectural and interior vernacular.
