I feel fortunate to have met illustrator Yuko Okabe via RISD’s Artworks. I was seeking an illustrator to do some technical drawings for our newest product, ELEVATE, and commissioned Yuko to make it fun and feminine. I’ve always been in awe of illustrators, as illustration is not my forte. I wasn’t really sure how it would work, as I was hiring someone to illustrate something very specific and instructional for me, yet I wanted to let her have the freedom to draw and illustrate in her own style. Yuko listened to my requests and ran with it in a wonderful way. Her series of illustrations tell it all and show my customers how to take off an old fan and re-install ours.
