Toe kick (pl. toe kicks): a recess at the bottom of a kitchen cabinet that allows a person to stand closer to the counter-top. Toe kicks happen to be one of my favorite products. These often get completely ignored and we are huge proponents of not leaving them behind. In fact, I just replaced a couple in my own home, and they make me feel complete every time I see them, and I do see them! It’s one more design detail in an unexpected place, adding visual interest and a finishing touch to my home. So I say, draw attention to your toe kicks, make a design statement and create visual intrigue with every toe kick opportunity. #toekickstyle
